Silvio De Ponte e Pietro Gaeta
Silvio De Ponte, an architect, collaborated with the architects Pierluigi Cerri and Vittorio Gregotti from 1987 to 1991. He carried out research and experimentations on new materials and technologies. He was art director at DIL Illuminazione from 1998 to 2001. He is a consultant for the Triennale in Milan, for which he also planned exhibitions. His work has been published in magazines and books both in Italy and abroad. He teaches at the Domus Academy in Milan, at La Sapienza University in Rome and at Milan Polytechnic.
Pietro Gaeta, an architect, started his professional career as assistant to Alessandro Mendini, collaborating on many design and architectural works. He worked as a designer and art director for leading Italian and foreign companies and participated in numerous international exhibitions. A lamp he designed was added to the “Permanent Design Collection” at the Triennale in Milan in 1999. His work has been published in magazines and books both in Italy and abroad. Together with Silvio De Ponte he designed The New Essential collection for Colombostile.
